The New International Airport opens in Larnaca

The new International Airport went into operation on Tuesday, starting with flights of Cyprus Airways and Easeyjet  exclusively.The other airlines will transfer their arrivals and departures to the new terminal by the 17th November.

At an estimated cost of 656.3 million euro, the new 10,000 square meter terminal features 67 check in counters, 14 airline ticket desks, 8 check in kiosks, 16 air bridges, 7 sercurity points, 5 aircraft baggage conveyor belts, and parking spaces for 2.450 cars while its annual passenger capacity is 7.5 million.
